I don't get a joy playing top anymore. Riot, for whom is actually top lane?

Why top is my favorite role? Because it's separated lane, it's a duel between two. Lane, where fighters and tanks fight for every CS, outplaying each other. But what can i see now? Every game is survival horror against adc/support/mage. Just look at the SKT vs IG last game. Khan at camille lost 70 cs at 20 min vs TheShy neeko, wtf riot? How it's playable?

? I CAN'T WAIT FOR SWAIN AND CASSIO BACK TO TOP NEXT PATCH. And you can't even punish them. Champs like camille who must be a hunter(not a prey) just suck under turret not being able to even last hit.

Ok Ryze and Vladimir are OK, they are balanced at top, because they are weak early game, can't bully you hard and pretty valnurable, but still can outplay you. But what about others? They WANT you to jump on them, because they win every single trade for sure. Riot, you nerfed all champs to status unplayable who could punish them(Sylas, Akali, Irelia). I don't actually remember when i saw Darius or Kayle last time. There is no lane in this game they can stay and not being destroyed by ranged champ. What are you going to do Riot?

Top lane is for everyone! Mage/Support/ADC/Whatever... Everyone can play top, because there is no, and there should be no rules against who can go where! Stop with the mentality of "Ugggh top lane is only for meelee fighters and everything else is OP there!".

If you want a fair balanced dueling game where every hero is melee, go play For Honor.

There's a level of BS that reeks from these type of topics. Darius is one of the most played champs in the Top lane with a 10% playrate and is currently listed in the top tier of champions to play. The champions dominating top lane are NOT ranged champions but champions like Mordekaiser TahmKench Riven Darius Volibear . There are plenty of options melee champions have to abuse ranged champions in the top lane but people just expect not to face anyone that can poke at them for some asinine reason.

So true , i am a Shen main , and i don't remember the last time i played melee vs melee , i played vs vayne in the last 4 days more than darius in the last month, Top lane sadly is not for tanks anymore , you literally can play anything at top at this moment (Even janna) , Riot fucked the top lane by allowing the ranged champs to be playable at top with no advantage for the melee , also you will have nightmares if you even tried to farm , dude you cant even go ward the bush without getting poked like there's no tomorrow, just so sad what is happening to top lane Amumu

I will never understand why Riot made so many AP champions who are simultaneously able to poke, wave pressure, and zone melees who ALSO have multiple tools to shit on said melee champs if they all-in

Honestly its pretty unplayable against Cho'Gath. I don't deal damage to him but he takes half of my hp with 1 q even tho i play tank against him.

never happen so deal with it also this whole thing is just ending of "gut tanks out of lane" story, look at what are top ten played top lane champions, just lane bullies so naturaly ranged are picked there because if you dont play as melee one of this BS you dont stand a chance. Btw because riot made sure that only juggernauts can compete against juggernauts and steamroll everything else there will be even more ranged incoming because nobody sane will willingly go against morde, tahm, shield popping rene and others into fits fight when whole gameplay against these is "do whatever you want just dont let them touch you".

Camille could have been put ahead of neeko if skt managed their resources properly, sorry to say. Toplane isn't supposed to be a joi, it's supposed to be a match. And if you get outplayed you will be punished. Camille is always pickable in competitive play, pending your own composition. but she can be situationally played into ANYTHING that the other team wants to draft, esp if she's blue side
