If you are a good Yasuo player then you can take him into Irelia. I have never lost to one playing top lane Yasuo. I'm fairly certain Jax can beat both of them.

Xin has E luck so that's dealt with.

Jax and Ryze can deal with irelia top. Nasus should do fine too assuming farmed safely. If all else fails, go Quinn top, she gives irelia cancer.

Jax hard counters both. actually jax is supposed to be one of the worst early game champions but he counters irelia so hard she can't even beat him at level 6. you can initiate with your E if she qs a minion you can Q to her and stun her.

xin zhao simply has no chance to duel jax. at all. no matter how he builds or what he builds or what he does.

teemo isn't a good pick into irelia or xin because they can simply rush a tank item and run him down. with their gap closers and slows. i wouldn't pick teemo into xin or irelia. i mean you can win but he doesn't really counter them

I would argue against this.

Jax vs Irelia is a skill match-up (dodge timing, Irelia using Q to dodge the stun, etc.). If you're good at Jax, go for it.

Jax vs Xin, however, is skewed in Xin's favor. It may be true that Jax can win in a deathmatch, but if Xin can keep the trades short, he can easily win the lane since he has sustain and uses way less mana per trade than Jax does. Good trade timing by Xin can keep the trades quick and ends up with Xin having more health and mana than Jax, zoning him out.

Mid-game and late-game 1v1 duels between Xin and Jax are kinda irrelevant when it comes to counter-picking. Jax is the superior champion late game, but Xin does beat Jax in lane (potentially shutting him down).

Jayce is a good champion against both. He can poke and zone using Cannon, and can switch to Hammer and knock them back if they come close. He's also very bursty when it's time for blood.

Really easy to play. Max E, press it whenever they jump on you. You get free armor as well, and what is effectively a 10% bonus to your max HP. Even if you (somehow) lose lane, you're still useful because of your ultimate.

The only downside I can think of is how boring he is.

Quinn absolutely wrecks Xin. Probably the hardest counter in the game.

Volibear is pretty strong against Irelia.

In both cases the enemy jungler needs to camp for them until they get around a 2 level lead if they're going to be able to beat you 1v1.

I was gonna say Jax but somebody got that... I ALWAYS used to pick Exhaust against either of the two as Rengar top, and I guess item 3110 would be good on a tank. As for champions? Hmmmm.... well, IDK with Irelia (maybe garen?) but I know that Jax can't fully block AoE damage and is countered by MASSIVE AS slows? Sorry it's jax. Rengar. I pretty much go into the "flight" half of my brain upon sight.
