Is inting reportable anymore?

Silly Neeko··1 votes·1,401 views

There is proxy singed who doesnt care if they die. There is split pushing nasus who doesnt care if they die. There is sion who literally has the GOAL of dieing at their tower.

Then there is stuff like this. (Id attempt to blurr if i could because of the naming and shaming thing, but its not even my video im using as evidence of this. Nor is it really naming and shaming i suppose)

https://youtu.be/RYv6HdiLnMQ

I am really about to ask in a support ticket if this stuff is actually reportable for punishments or not. This just seems so wrong that it almost validates trolling in ranked "my team did not capitalize on my giving these champions a killing spree for shutdown gold" etc.

Its not even that these stradegies work well..... its just that they work well enough to win over half the games pretty much. It seems so wrong even though i can understand exactly how it works.

is someone running it down the lane to grief a game and intentionally cause his team to lose? yes.

is someone repeatedly dieing for objectives to win the game for his team? no.

doesnt seem too difficult of a concept to me.

unfortunately, even though the first case is reportable - people often get away with intentional feeding :( had a chance to play with such player few weeks ago (not only he inted, he also stayed afk at the base doing nothing most of the time), he is still playing. If that was not punishable, I don't know what is...

And yet, where is the line between intentional feeding and intentional feeding for objectives but being shut down hard and still trying and when is it that int feeding for objectives becomes just int feeding for objectives while your team loses dragons, barons, mid towers, inhibitors, and then nexus turrets and nexus itself?

It is a very blurred line atm.

In that video i posted, the two people intentionally fed 75 kills. SEVENTY-FIVE. Like i said, i understand how this works etc, Yorick and Nasus and Singed however dont normally go 0/25 or something intentionally though. They often need 3 people to shut them down and even then they just get stronger. Sion literally just needs a person with BORK (kaisa, ashe) or a Vayne on them, and then he is near useless as "inting sion".

You might see it as simple black and white, but in the end the entire thing is a grey area atm with more excuses to promote int feeding rather than against it.

inting is an insanely vague word for this game. if you are winning objectives and dying for a reason than who cares? if the inting is causing you a loss and you are not stopping then yes its bad. problem is someone will report you just for being 0/3 and saying "you inted". the magic of that is they dont see the 0/3/21.

Im not talking about the whole "oh they are inting because they have the most deaths and no kills" kind of stuff.... i mean like in that video they had 40 deaths and 35 deaths with 11 and 6 kill participation.

I do understand exactly how it works like i mentioned, because it makes it so that each enemy kill is worth 800-1600 gold, effectively making it so that your team is fed off of only a few kills.... but allowing that sets a REALLY bad precedent because that gives an excuse for every intentional feeder. Outside of a 5 person premade team that has that plan before hand, i really do not feel it should be allowed. Or unless EVERYONE agrees to it in champ select.

The absolute whining because of 10 deaths isnt even a problem because that could mean you are targetted the entire game. Some people havent had the luxury of getting set back and then camped and targetted the entire game and thats ok. But 10 deaths is not intentionally feeding unless they sat there waiting for someone to kill them.

Heck i remember some games that a Zed got fed and then they went the whole game chasing after me as i was Jhin ADC. He would literally run past the ENTIRE team of mine to come after me, inwhich some cases were better than others. My team didnt lift a finger to even try and help, nor did i really want them to since the Zed was the only one with anything on their team and so it proceeded to be a 4v4 and 1v1 pretty much. We eventually won, me even outplaying the Zed multiple times. But yes, unless i was in fountain there was not much i could do when he did kill me. Think i had like 15 deaths.

25 deaths? 40 deaths? That is intentionally feeding in nearly every case.

Judging by the sheer amount of inters I get, like 95% of my games, I'd say no.

Whats your definition of inting?

FioraWillCarry1 votes

If you go 2-15, 0-11, 1-12 in a match, you are inting. Almost every game, I see at least one of these assholes.

Mordepool2 votes

Ohhh so your definition is based solely off deaths.

Let me ask you a question

Whats the difference between

  1. a jungler 0-11 who is continually invaded & counter jungled who asks for help vs the enemy jungler early on. Who wards despite limited farm. Keeps farming keeps supporting his team.

VS

  1. Someone Running down lanes taking turret shots until low and then standing around waiting for the enemy laner to kill them. Ending the game at 0/11.

My belief is that Your definition of feeding needs to change

I've been counter jungled. It never caused me to go 0-11. There's never an excuse to go 0-11. If someone does, they are inting. Look in my match history, if you can find me ever going shit like 1-13, 2-11, 0-11, I guarantee you, that I gave up that game in that game and just did whatever, waiting for the enemy team to end.

Oh and I'm strictly talking about ranked. I don't care what happens in normals. Normals is for trying shit out or just having fun. Ranked is a competitive mode. No one should be going 0-11 in a ranked game.

Ive had games where i was in the middle of my team.... sitting behind my team... sitting to the side of my team... etc and had a Zed charge at me past my team and go after me. But you wont ever blame your getting your butt handed to you as the enemy outplayed and camped you. No. "I just stopped trying and waited for enemy to win." You are egotistical right there.

You are also one of those *holes that also flame supports for having no kills also ill bet since you purposefully leave off assists in an attempt to make people look bad if they have more assists than kills because you think they do not matter.

Next time a raka keeps you healed and draws their fire and dies so you can get your pentakill, start flaming them for dieing. Ill bet everyone will just let you die for the rest of the game and offer no assistance at all because all you care about is kills and deaths.

Numbers do not show what happened in game if it is not 20+ deaths in 10-15 minutes.

Nope wrong again.

Oh so your a defeatist and mis- informed about what Intentionally feeding actually means.

Ranked is a competitive mode. No one should be going 0-11 in a ranked game.

I can see where you and i have differing viewpoints. I will yield the point that not every game is winnable. BUT i will try to win everygame carrying dead weight players like yourself along the way.
Even if my score ends up 0/11 i wouldnt care. Because death score doesnt equal intent. Since it doesnt account for objectives, CS per minute, Vision score, Healing done, Damage mitigated. OR TEAMWORK

I've had several games in a row where I did that and I was NOT inting in the slightest. Inting or Intentional Feeding is when the player literally stops caring and just runs down a lane into the enemies and dies while literally doing nothing.

PhearBunny1 votes

dawg ive been suspended for inting, and the games they showed me that I inted in were... 8-2. 8-2. and 9-9.

Riot is a joke :O

PhearBunny1 votes

That is ridiculous, going 0-11 isn't neccisarily inting. Sometimes feeding is very unavoidable especially with how snowbally things are.

Routinely going 0-11 would be an issue, but going 0-11 once a month isn't abnormal.
