Kayle support, what do you think?

I feel like she fits a similar role to lulu without the need to go solo lane and build heavy amounts of ap to be relevant. Q provides a decent slow, the same as lulu. W provides a decent MS buff, same as lulu, while also healing with a really good base heal. E well, pretty much the only downside. R a free zhonyas on your adc which i'd say is better than lulu's ult, scaling to 3 seconds at lv 3... I've had some success on her as a support. Pretty funny seeing a zed ult your adc and you just pop your zhonyas... lol

I played a few games of it the other day, and my impression is that she is mediocre at all the things she does if she is starved for gold like an average support. Pretty much any healing champion heals better than her with less items, several champions can save an ally almost as good as her Ult but with more range/utility or shorter CD not being an Ult, and several of those same champs can poke better than her.

Basically it felt like I needed a lot more gold to do much, and her Ult was either amazing or didn't help because it was too short. I'd pick Tahm or Thresh for saving or Lulu for poke and utility over her; they can all do a ton even if they are behind and aren't limited to just being an Ult then.

The perfect Ults are awesome, though.

Kayle Supp was really popular back in like S2-3. Then riot started releasing more and more champions who could do MORE. Kayle's kit doesn't have any HARD CC, Lulu's does, with a knockup. Champions like Thresh, Leona, and even Annie, just end up bringing more to the table when it comes to lategame potential in the Support role.

Kayle, especially with the new itemization options of a Reworked Guinsoo's is just, overall, stronger as an Auto-attacking Hybrid DPS champion right now.

Best used in a passive lane that just wants to farm. Works best with Sivir. The combo of the spell shield plus kayle ult will allow sivir to avoid hard CC while immune to damage from kayle ult - every kill will be secured. ultimately though - it's a bad pick because kaye does not benifit much from any support item. Not terrible with aegis but ultimately kayle is a hybrid auto attacker that doesn't really want any stat other than attack speed and cooldown reduction with AP or AD.

I find support Kayle all around pretty bad. Her poke, heal, and real damage are all on separate abilities and none of which are very rewarding to max. She has no hard CC and not very good range on her Q for a slow. And her ult while good has a terrible duration for what it actually brings to the lane. 2 seconds in lane is not much more time than a soraka heal or janna shield will buy you in combat. And it is easily waited out by the enemy, unlike a shield/heal.

Go for it. Nobody can stop you from using her where you want
