The link between Ranked and Player Tribunal: A Suggestion. A Solution.

Throughout numerous games and a wide array of experiences while playing ranked, I have accumulated enough experience to see one inevitable constant in game; many players will flat out lose due to inexperience and lack of knowledge. That is perfectly fine, as Riot has implemented what I have personally deemed an (unpopular opinion) adequate ranking system to place players in. This provides room for improvement in game and many platforms exist as well as this forum as a means for players of every rank to communicate and exchange ideas and tips to empower and better their experience.

The main issue lies in the tribunal system and the means of deterring specific types of players. Those who tilt. Those players who have created in themselves a sense of hubris where they reject the idea of playing around the team because they are the best player. Those who make a minor mistake, and decide to drain the LP of four unfortunate, but willing players. There, of course, is the report system which can be used to inform Riot of toxicity in general (It does work, as I get an Instant Feedback Report window nearly 2-3 times per week. That is nearly 40% of my reports being answered. It seems small, but taking into account the thousands of reports they receive along with filtering the loose and unfair ones, it is proof of their attentiveness). What I suggest for a future season is a sort of Ranked Purgatory for those players who show repeated instances of negative behavior and purposeful throws.

It can be divided per Split. That way, those "toxic" players are all essentially stuck with each other in a sort of detention; they can still play ranked and attempt to improve, but they are separated from those who show constant honor and a legitimate means of intention to win games. This way, they aren't necessarily banned, which can affect Riot in the long run. Rather, with this Detention Zone, players will experience lower priority queues (7-10 minutes?), lower LP gains, bigger chat restrictions, and the inability to server jump for the remainder of the split. After the mid-season point, they are provided with a redemption opportunity. 25 games (they gotta be in it to win it) where they are "walking the tight rope", their actions will hold greater scrutiny in the tribunal. If they continue the bad behavior, their ranked season is over; they lose all rewards, and their next season starts with a clean slate, their previous ranked not being considered in their initial 10 promotional games.

If they present improved relationships among teammates and a more positive attitude through honors, they will once again be allowed to partake in the regular ranked games with fellow players. With this solution, they are provided with a chance to improve themselves. If they actually want to play Ranked, they will have to PLAY._ No chat. No gains. Only self improvement_. 5 unapologetically toxic players forced to rely on each other to get out of purgatory. Not the proverbial "ELO Hell" meant for those legitimately unskilled players. A special corner of league reserved for those ultra toxic players with one goal in mind; ruining player experience.

From a psychological standpoint, there would be a subconscious will to improve their play, as they will be forced to take in their personal dose of medicine which was forced upon all the players who had to pay for ones actions by playing with 4 like-minded individuals. If they come back with the same mentality, their season becomes one of having to play twice as hard in order to reach their personal goals. This would provide players with a space where honor goes more noticed. A better reward than a small emblem during the loading screen; knowing that even though you are Iron/Bronze/Silver, you will play with players who actually want to win, increasing your likelihood of advancing to higher ranks. If you lose, this is because you need to improve your mechanics, or whatever the case may be. But gone will be the days where one suffers the "IDC GG Enjoy your lane" from a disgruntled and negative jungle or a "OM* this **** *********** *" from a toxic top, or the tried and (unfortunately) true "GG ([Summoner] Has Disconnected).

This can also serve a solution for those who purchase accounts with high ranks. If they show toxic behavior and get sent to Summoner Prison (Working on the name), then it solves that problem and makes their investment all for naught (Not Naut) once their personal actions makes it so that the following season they go from Flatinum¹ or Rhinestone² back to Bronze.

Or IDK just limit them to Twisted Treeline or som'n.

Any and all inputs welcome, as this is a space for all to add. Lets make the powers upstairs take note of this and potentially add this within the next 2 seasons.

(¹ Flatinum refers to "Fake Platinum". Those account that were purchased by otherwise unskilled players) (² Rhinestone refers to "Fake Diamond")
