Why are there (seriously not a joke) no Irelia nerfs on the PBE, she'll be ridiculous with it. If she buys that and I tri-force she can build full tank and obliterate everything. For those of you not familiar with the new item here's some info: +500 Health +25% base AD It has a unique passive where if you take between 400 and 1800 damage you grow in size, get an additional 25% base AD and a shield based on 30% of your max health. Imagine this on Irelia, she'll annihilate everyone. Not sure why riot hasn't seen this coming.

its BASE ATTACK DAMAGE meaning its not that much.

if it was 25% attack damage that would be broken but this is differen't.

Yea it does make her better but that doesn't mean she will be any more "op" that what she is right now.

The ONLY problem with her right now is that she can do bad in lane and still have a great game unlike other top laners.

Well just for the record, that at level 10, as it's not too unreasonable to think she have the item or be very close to it at that level, she'd have an ad of 108.75, the damage steroid buff deal going on there, then makes it 130.5. A trinity force empowered attack would then deal 391.5 damage + 30 from the extra damage on Trinity Force for 421.5 damage. that is about 1/4 of a person's health bar around level 10.

Add to that you can just use Bladesurge for it instead and deal 140 +160.5 + 260, for a total of 561.5 being about 1/3 of someone's health bar.

It's some serious damage.

you do realise the whole point of these items is to improve bruiser itemisation right?

and it just so happens irelia is a bruiser?

but yes, I'm looking forward to never being able to play my main in the next patch since she'll probably hit 80% ban rate.

Sterak's on Irelia is, imo, going to be somewhat of a trap item.

Yes, it synergizes nicely with Triforce, which is THE core item of Irelia. However, that is unfortunately where the synergy ends.

What it doesn't feature are resistances and CdR. CdR, which is obviously very useful for Spellblade users as it increase the frequency of your procs, and in Irelia's case both increases the uptime on her core damage tool and her mobilty. And her kit scales better with defenses (possibly mixed in with some HP) instead of plain, raw health - resistances bolster the effect her two sustain abilities have, thus keeping her in fights a lot longer.

I think one thing that'll hold Irelia back from being too crazy is that bruisers in general got buffs this patch, and bruisers (and tanks) tend to be the kinds of champions that handle Irelia best.
