I mean, I get that he is annoying, but he has no ranged poke aside from his tornado and his mobility limits to minions.
I always end up solo killing him early or getting a jungler gank, and when i lose to him, we just shut him down in teamfights

Chances are you were playing a hard counter, or the Yasuo just wasn't good. When you're playing against a rank 7 Yasuo with over 500 wins on the champ, you'll know
If you were against yassuo(with two s's, best yasuo in the world probably) you wouldn't be saying the same.
Because many people cannot properly read those openings of a Yasuo player. Bad or otherwise.
Plus early game crit like that is a bit annoying in melee trades if you don't have the damage to actually punish him for it. So if you play highly telegraphed champions (like me) it becomes a rather frustrating experience.
One of my first ranked games was against a rank 7 Yasuo top and I never felt more powerless in my life.
Though I don't think he's as dumb as much of the board hatred says he is. He's just really annoying and I'd much rather not deal with him (Though he's not on my ban list since it is rare that he makes it past it).

in all honesty I fucking love Yasuo, he's one of my favorite champs by lore and design. He's not hard to lane against unless he counterpicks you all death, then it's r1p. I pick hard CC champs then take him on
When you get in plat + good yasuos practically shut you down in lane.
My personal biggest beefs with Yasuo are,
Windwall- Nothing annoys me more than a single ability that blocks just about everything, especially in the laning phase and especially when it's obvious he cast it late but my shit still fizzles.
Mobility- his mobility should have a CD, NOBODY should be able to dance around like that. Almost all other dash abilities have pretty long cool downs, they could at least give him a 1s break in between his annoying spam.
