Might be unpopular but i think plants are unhealthy and rewarding bad practices.

I have been trying to be fair giving the plants a chance but honestly i think the jungle should have been left alone. So far i have not seen much play on the plants in many games they usually go unused. However when they are used it seems very unbalanced and just making random counter play aiding bad choices. This is one example i can give from tonight.

I was playing jg volibear,The enemy jg was ekko. I cleared red and krugs went to the river to clear the bug and ran into ekko. I started in on him tearing him apart he blows his flash i charge him and flip him. i have him to a shred of health on more hit and he's done then what happens he rolls and hits the plant bang instant disengage when i hit the charge again i get knocked back he is shot over the wall. Now i will admit was it a good move and a smart one yes. However this annoys me to no end that there is now a fail safe for being a bad player. Now the thing is playing a softer jungle i would have not engaged volibear unless i had a way to kill him or mess him up enough to make him run. Now it's just yolo hit everything and use my blast off button to save me.

Even if i had kindred and could have shot him back to me i still think this is an unhealthy for the game as it offers to many easy solutions. Just my thoughts on the jungle now.

According to Riot the previous iteration of Jungle didn't turn out to the expected results, hence the current changes into jungle camps, jungle buffs and plants.

"Unused" - well if your not in the jungle your not going to using them as often. The honeyfruit is probably the most used when available. so you are wrong there.

The blast cone thingy, your example is not a fault on you, an the Ekko player was very lucky in that circumstances, but the plants are not to blame either. In Ekko's point of view he would say that without them, he would have died, so it offered him counterplay.

"unhealthy" there are many things way more unhealthy than this, like the Red+Krugs into level 3 gank.

the jungle is not perfect, and could be improved further, but your opinion is truly "unpopular"

You have to come to term, Riot does not want the old jungle back.

That's not a fail safe for being a bad player. You have to have vision of the plant to know where and when you can use it. If the jungle plants are being unused in most of your games then you're likely not playing a high level.

Knowing where the plants are, or where they might be can be considered a tactical advantage in a game, for example the other day I was playing amumu, I was almost caught out and killed by a Rengar and may have been forced to burn my flash but I held onto it, until I reached a blast cone near blue buff and propelled myself towards my turret preserving my flash.

The problem is the jgl is too overpowered right now. To me personally a jgler shouldn't be able to have a lvl over solo lanes and basically win a lane on that advantage alone. Ive been ganked now where I survived but I can't risk staying lane because the jgler is going to just regank right after getting his HP off a plant. The jgl is just broken right now imo. The blasting plants are nice though considering we have no pink wards anymore and whatnot
