It isn't a bannable offense to ban something your teammate intends to play nor should it.

If I am one of the last 3 in the team to get a choice to ban a champion I can ban ANY champion I want from the game regardless of the reasons. Suck it up and pretend the enemy team blind banned your champion and do whatever you would do in that situation. Or you can be a 9 year old and decide you are going to troll and feed because you didn't get your way, I don't mind you can eat the report from the rest of the team.

Especially things like nidalee and xin zhao, I really don't feel like flipping a coin to find out if you are going to do really well or be an underfed useless nidalee or a no gank xin zhao who fails to farm up the jungle by mid/late game to be worth something.. I don't know what you guys have seen, but certain champions seem to either do very well or horribly and I'm not going to risk some guy/gal I don't know picking these win hard/lose hard champions.

The only situation I can see where you would ban your teamates preferred champion is when it is commonly known to be incerdibly op and your team doesn't have first pick. Otherwise you're just being selfish and generally a terrible teamate. No, I don't like seeing nidalee on my team either. However, the only thing worse than having a nidalee would be undermining my teamate right off the bat in champ select for no reason other than they're not picking what I want them to. That's a great way to auto lose because of infighting and generally demoralizing your team. Trolling your team out of their champs and in the process wasting a ban just to get your way is 100% a reportable offense.

Well it depends on situation tbh. I you are banning something that opponent might pick and could be problem, then its fine. But if u are banning something just because you dont want your teammate to pick it for various reasons: he has negative winrate with it, or you dont want teemo top in your team, or you dont want warwick jungle , or you dont want top Sona. Then it can be considered negative behavior and might tilt people, which would lead to you losing game and LP anyway. Trust me, banning something cause u dont want "to risk him doing bad and being underfed" can lead to worse situation.

np. they'll just pick a different champ to feed even worse on so you can ff, lose LP faster and move on to the next game.

That's what I do when someone bans a champ I want to play: I first time something in ranked which is also completely legitimate. I play to improve, after all. Whether that results in a win is up to you.
