Riot hasn't really listened to Poppy players feedback at all for the rework

On PBE, many players voiced their concerns for their once favorite yordle, but almost none were taken into consideration and only five riot posts remain on the thread, posted below. http://boards.pbe.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/champions-gameplay-feedback/iELz2g6E-poppy-update-feedback-thread

Now, at this point, most Poppy players have given up hope, but the rioter conducting the rework said a future rework to abilities could be put in place. Now, the problem here is, people who didn't enjoy Poppy for what she was before, generally enjoy the new Poppy, and as a new champ, people are hardly being fair to say that people who originally played her are getting what they want.

Now, if us Poppy mains could get some feedback taken so we can play and enjoy our favorite yordle again, that would be great.

You're not getting a response. All they'd be able to tell you is that Old Poppy is dead and buried, and saying it can only incite anger. No one who liked the Old Poppy is going to be happy at being told that there is no chance to play with the old kit again.

The thing with large reworks is that you'll always, always upset the people who played the champion before the rework. That's a cost, but it's a cost that Riot has shown many times that they are willing to pay in order to put out a rework. If they thought that the old design had problems, then they're not going to revert a rework, particularly not a rework that has been generally well-received by the majority of the community.

That's not really what Solcrushed said. What he said was "Entire changes to skills will probably only come in the form of another rework if we feel it is necessary", which was in response to the question of whether or not there would be changes to Poppy's skills following the rework. This is a polite way of saying that the skills won't be changed unless there is a very, very important failure in her design that necessitates reworking the champion again. Appealing to old champion mains doesn't qualify.

Basically, he said that a future rework to her abilities isn't going to happen unless she has major issues. Given that she doesn't, it would be advisable to not expect any change to her kit anytime in the foreseeable future.

are you suggesting old poppy was good? there was a reason that she was removed from the free champion rotation you know.

just another thing that riot doesn't care about. what the players of an unpopular char want. just like how the US populace doesn't care about what unpopular politicians want to do, or how high elo players don't care about low elo player's opinions.

I honestly feel this has a lot to do with the time. Riot is probably running a skeleton crew right now until the new year starts up and they get back into the grind of things.

I used to play old poppy pretty much only after i found her when i started in season 3, the ult was fun but i liked being able to slam n pop kill an adc, and then run barely getting away.

new poppy is in all reality what they really wanted out of poppy in the first place but her old kit just sorta fell into this area of burst assassin. pretty much all her top matchups were going to counter her, surviving in lane hoping to scale mid game and yes MID game Poppy falls off late game she wasn't a " HyperCarry" just an anti-carry.

the new poppy really just redefines what riot was initially trying to do in the first place they just gave her the tools to do it now, the only thing I don't like is her unhealthy Hero war shipping obsessive personality, old poppy was like " fighting is serious business" " I'll settle this issue" " There will be peace" "whatever the cost"

and that old sinister laugh

Every time I see a Poppy main complain about her rework, all I read is, "I like toxic gameplay."
