Can we address supports
Hey guys, I'm a long time support main. I have a ton of games on thresh and bard, and probably have logged 500+ support games in the past year. I love playing support. Being the savior/healer/engager and overall utility beast is really fun to me and I have fun playing supports. However, I feel like support is and has been by far the worst role to carry in solo queue and in general is the weakest champion on the map. Supports by nature are team dependent so this seems natural however, at the moment supports are basically useless. They do provide some awesome utility/damage/etc depending on the support but honestly they are just so weak. They find themselves weaker than virtually every champion in the game at all stages of the game, have a general inability to scale off of items and honestly end up being more helpful than a liability if they die more than 5-6 times per game. I don't think supports are horrible or completely underpowered, however I do think they could use some buffs as a whole. Supports just can't get to a point where they can carry a game on their own right now no matter what and I would personally like to see that change. In my opinion, supports should scale worse on items, relying on utility from items rather than stats but have insane early levels and level scalings so if you do manage to get that xp lead and an advantage you can actually stay relevant and powerful rather than just being a weak peel/stun/ward bot unless your name is annie, leona or alistair. That's just me though.
