excuse me sir.... why are you posting this?
because it's a public ranked match and i wanted feedback on my build runes masteries- etc. so that i can improve and get out of bronze v and hopefully make it to gold before the end of the season (cough cough not likely).
discussions about your personal strategies, to speculation about the next champion or patch_, if it’s about playing the game, it goes here_.
well 1st thing i noticed was no
on
game was already snowballing before we hit 20 minutes. so i went with zzrot and guardian angel instead.

Fixed it for you ;)
lol... the comment about
on
was a debate me and the OP had a couple of weeks ago where he defended it to the bitter end. so it was a shot at him regarding the old debate.
om your
game you never got
and have bad amount of wards placed... you finished
before your gold item. limiting your income. having
or
is better over all then
on raka in my opinion.
by finishing
into
you would have more stats the active on the ms to engage or disengage ur team or for you to catch up to a team mate and allow your passive as raka to be more effective and be able to have more asst. you could of also gotten
or
which would allow you to buff your team and with a comp like you had they would all benefit from the passives.
i built the negatron cloak and the chalice because sona was poking me to death early. i never really had an issue with jinx because even though i was actually starting to fall asleep at the start of the game (literally i almost dozed off and would wake up from alert pings - it's a blood sugar issue) jhin kept her far away. the best she could do was to hit me with her zap. then yi and twisted fate both dove me at tower and that's when i decided i would buy guardian angel to stop all of the attempts at feeding from me. i never bothered building sightstone since i dont like building hp on soraka and the zzrot gives the passive that talisman of ascension does minus the active plus more armor and magic resist.i realize true damage from yi's wuju style could have still killed me very fast and in fact it did 1 time, but i was willing to risk it for the chance to kind of bait their team with my appearance of a squishy champ.
edit had the match continued on my next item would have been a completed
most likely. and then i would have built rabbadons
but if you look at the stats of what elo/ranks buy place the most wards the ones that place the most are usually the highest. and i know your thoughts on hp on raka we have had lengthy discussing before which included the debate of
on raka.
but if you have zero hp you are more likely to get blown up and bursted down compared to having some hp and some def stats to go with. and zzrot dont give mana regen, hp per cs death, gold per cs death, or the active.
i think tier 2 income items max out their charges and gold per second except on the green one. idk let me look at them. favor which is the only income you get on the coin goes up 2 levels.
is 4 gold and 5 health.
is 6 gold and 10 health
and
are both 6 gold and 10 health.
the relic shield path is different in that at rank 3 you get 4 charges to spoils of war. it's the only one that grants more gold for the final tier of the income item. that's why when i build the edge or coin usually i wait until late game to max it unless i DESPERATELY need wards. is it really that bad of a decision to make? i always felt like
could make up the difference since everyone on the team except a person or two usually buy it.
Edit
however to be fair i guess i should mention that the final version of
doesnt disable tribute upon killing a minion (at least it says it doesnt.)
Swapping
for
when you get
lets you begin denying the other team vision without losing your wards. Grabbing
lowers the cooldown of trinkets, so clear is up more often, and whatever other actives you get (like
).
I dunno what the best item strategies are. I think clearing vision is important, as well as placing your own vision.
I think
(and other eye items) speeds up the rest of your build if you get it early, but at the cost of reduced
/
cooldown of course.
i appreciate the insight. i never bothered looking at ruby sightstone because i always preferred the extra slot space. i didnt know it had an "active items cooldowns are reduced by 20%" passive. i'll have to look into making some builds for it.
Yeah, thanks.
Yeah, build whatever you want if you think it's good. I try to focus on vision placement and denial because it's what I see others talk about / do and it seems good.
I dunno.
no no you dont wanna get the HP on raka
[slayer-jinx-wink]
i never said i was going to get it on soraka, but if the enemies have heavy true damage and crowd control like an olaf and ahri i would consider getting a 500 hp item just so i dont die to the true damage. yi is squishy and cant force you to fight him.
Game 1: Low CS. 131 CS in 22 minutes. Died once. Only 4 wards. Not sure if
adds to total, but it was switched to at 13:21 from
start.
Game 2: Low warding / Vision denial. 11 wards in 29:34 minutes as support. No
. No
s. Died twice.
anything else?
[deleted]
okay. thanks. just a heads up my first death was to a turret as an execution. i had the most armor in lane so i let it eat my hp up so jhin could destroy it.
I don't know. Those are the big ones to me. Dying a few times is alright... Less is better of course.... Warding and clearing wards is important as a support, and CS is important as a carry. Also good to do vision stuff as any role.
should really be able to ward about ever 90 secs -2mins in a 22 min game that means you could of had 8-11 wards easily. i dont know about getting
3rd... in your
build. i feel that you could of been better with a
stack or maybe getting
before you build
into
cuz the combo of
really strong. so for that combo you can build
into
then get
cuz when you slow targets the passive dot damage from
is greater plus
offers better stats over all then
i made it to level 9 pretty fast and bought my blue ward immediately. no one destroyed my blue ward so i never had to replace it. the reason i bought liandrys instead of something else is because garen started targeting me for the true damage buff. any time i'd get a kill he'd roam to mid. he almost killed me and that would have cost me all of my stacks on my ring - which i only bought because annie and jhin swapped lanes causing me to have to juggle my build where i was trying to counter annie (magic damage) vs jhin (physical and high critical) the ring helped with my potions effectiveness and then i built it into the soulstealer grabbing the finished liandrys for garen.
does that help explain the situation better or do you still disagree with it?
but with garen
slow on all the abilities would allow you to kite him better and you have 100ap and 400hp and even when you ult as karth the slow applies to all the targets where as your ult may not kill them but it can provide a slow so your teammates can catch them/or escape them. landry's is good item but i feel
out classes it. and even with the blue trinket you should still be buying pinks. and you had zero bought.
as far as items in general there are better items with higher win % on
top two core builds by win % are

now your kda is nice but it does seem like
was a god that game. you didnt do horrible but if you want tips ect to increase win % dont take it as being wrong/right think of it as ideas and theory crafting.
i dont take any offense to anything you say so long as youre not blatantly offensive or subliminally undermining.
i agree to buying both of those builds.
yes. every time i'd get an enemy low or bottom lane would xin would be there to pick them up. he was a very good jungler. nice and aware. lots of teamwork. i wanted to give him an honor after the game but my client for some reason has a habit of crashing at the end game screen. when i noticed how good he was at grabbing kills and assisting i asked him to take herald and helped him do it. i think we took it around 14-15 minutes in. i dont know for sure though because it doesnt show on the match history.
For the Karthus match. You might swap Bounty Hunter for Oppression in your Masteries. I'd also recommend taking Wall of Pain sooner. Gives you the slow and decreases your enemies magic resistance by 15% You may also consider upgrading your Refillable Potion to a Corrupting Potion for more lane pressure.
i actually wasnt planning on keeping that item all game or buying it at all honestly but was pressured into getting it when i started getting double teamed and triple teamed in mid early on. i dislike the
in all honesty. i refuse to get it 90% of my games. i just dont think it's worth it when most players use it for health and nothing else. if it granted more mana i'd probably consider it an option. so when i die or get killed early on i go with the flask and sell it at a later point the same way lots of players use the doran items.
i agree with getting the wall of pain sooner for the magic penetration and slow but i decided to go with my E and Q for a couple of reasons. 1 being that i was fearful of dying and not getting anything out of it. 2 was that i needed mana sustain against jhin and annie. 3 being that neither had any magic resist in all honesty but lots of damage. when skarner showed up with his movement speed boost i made sure to put a point into the wall.
i'll take a look at bounty hunter and oppression.
i find that any champ that any kind of slow, root, stun,cc gets a free 2.5% damage when an enemy is under any kind of cc ... its partly what makes ashe so strong... that and fervor of battle.
i checked it out. i decided to stick with bounty hunter because of the fact that i can get 5 varying kills with karthus pretty early on. and just at 3 kills i can have more damage. the 2.5 percent would be better if i rushed rylais. karthus's wall just isnt on a low enough cooldown for me to feel safe getting the 2.5%. by 20 minutes i should have my 5% easily. the only challenge would be their tank.
well that is of course assuming you are gonna kill all 5 of the enemy players
it should be easy with his R. i've done it multiple times. in the game above with xin killing everything i still managed to have a kill on annie skarner and jhin by 13 minutes in. that's more than the 2.5% damage i would have gotten from oppressor. the only trouble i would have had would have been garen which i actually ghost kited him with my Q and E melting his hp down to nothing but i might have died to his Q or R had xin not stepped in with his E. i'd rather lose that 1% damage than lose my stacks. the only time i ever saw yi was when someone else was near so i never had a chance to kill him. i would just assist from behind my teammate and let my teammate handle him while screen checking every few seconds to see if i needed to R. the amount of fear an assassin will put into you when you're stacking on a ring or soulstealer is ridiculous if you dont have defense. the closest thing i had to a defensive item was my archangel staff's active.
Might I suggest building eye of equinox to possibly train your self on warding.
i usually do, but
had the match continued on my next item would have been a completed
most likely.
