Bring Back Pink Trinket Upgrade

When you're at 6 items, yes I know Riot is trying to make it so it's a 3-4 item game and done, son, but that isn't what always happens. Not only that, it seems that more items have more interim components taking up more slots.

I like the new Blue Trinket, I do feel they balanced out Yellow Trinket a little by reducing cooldown, still seems long to me, but better than before.

PLEASE BRING BACK THE PINK WARD TRINKET UPGRADE. Or give us a PINK TRINKET as a 3rd Tier Boot Upgrade, call it the Pink Spur. Pinking shouldn't be this huge a tradeoff.

TL;DR for the rationale below, read if you want:

The problem is that later in the game, the only way to pink is to sell, and you lose a lot based on "sell value" (30% lost, 70% refunded):

item 3083 Cost: 2850 Sell Loss: 855 Refund: 1895 gold Pink: 75 Net: 1820 gold and loss of Warmog Stats <---

For that Pink, you gave to earn back 1030 gold to get the Warmog back after putting down the pink somewhere, not only that, you have to recall, get the pink, go place the pink, recall again, and re-buy what you sold if you had the extra cash to re-buy it.

Assuming you take the most direct path and there is no enemy attacking anywhere, no teamfights, nothing, pure silence while you pink: the whole process will take roughly 8s + 5s (sell/buy) + 45s to get to Baron/Dragon (35s to your side Red/Blue Jungle) + 8s recall again = 1 minute of game time, meanwhile enemy team. If while Pinking you are attacked, you've compromised your build and stats tremendously for that 75 gold pink ward that takes 5 hits to kill.

It seems the net effect of the Season 6 vision changes (outside Master/Challenger - -> Pro) is to ensure the map goes darker as the game progresses, by 6 items, no one can pink without severe penalty because they have no slots. Even before 6 items, you have those components for items. You feel pressure to maximize your AP/HP/Armor/MR/AD etc for those late game teamfights, everything matters, everything counts, except you died by trying to do vision??? When that extra item would have been enough for you to stay alive.

Sure, I hear you, sell the boots, SELL THE BOOTS you say?? Although, if you DO sell the boots, guess what, it will take you far longer to go place the Pink, up to 10-15 more seconds, so now you have to hope to have 70-75 seconds of free time. Not only that, selling the boots is a bigger risk for getting caught, you will not be able to escape or run away from the enemy team, they will be faster than you! Want to join that teamfight? Well, gonna take you a while to get there without boots. Selling them, you've just lost somewhere between 25-115 (usually 45) movement speed + x% from items. Tier 2 boots: Lose 330 gold stats and movespeed, Tier 3 boots: Lose 465 gold + stats, extra stats, and movespeed.

SO: Please bring back the Pink Trinket upgrade, or give us a PINK TRINKET as a 3rd Tier Boot Upgrade, call it the Pink Spur.

Agreed, I think the yellow trinket should have an optional upgrade to placing Pink Wards instead of the standard stealth wards. Blue Trinket seems to have more or less taken the place of the yellow trinket which is great for late game but now people have no reason almost to keep their yellow trinket during the mid-late game. The best way of addressing that and letting all three trinkets coexist in balance is to provide the utility of a recharging pink ward. Hope this gets some upvotes and maybe Riot's attention.
