Silver is worse than Bronze

At least in Bronze, people have an inkling about rotations and team fighting ability. In silver, everyone wants to play League like it has a campaign mode. A Bronze 1 player will always be better than a silver 5-4 player which blows my mind, the matchmaking system is so poorly thought up.

Riot has directly threatened to ban me if I use nomenclature EXCEPT in this specific instance, so thank you for opening the door.

There is a reason I call the brackets what I call them;

Diamond Pride (The top 1%) Platinum Adequacy Gold Mediocrity Silver Terror Bronze Chaos

...

Silver has the moniker "Terror" because unlike Bronze, people have some level of mechanical skill and knowledge, but what they lack is awareness so they are like a super intelligent 12 year old; If you've ever been around children, you know the type I'm talking about. One that is too arrogant to learn or be corrected, so he makes mistakes that even the most reeeenekton child would never do because at least simple minded children will seek guidance and if they err, they will accept their mistakes. The super intelligent 12 year old will refuse assistance and will often lack the humility to accept their own mistakes.

In this way, Silver Terror is indeed worse than Bronze Chaos where no one knows what they're doing and players run around like headless chickens. Silver Terror has this attitude far more than any other bracket and thus, in my personal opinion, there is no discernible difference between Bronze and Silver, they're both equally bad but for different reasons.... similar to the stages of grief , one must pass through these stages to eventually stop being bad.

Thats because all of the new level 30 accounts start in Silver, and its pretty hard to actually land in Bronze after your provisionals.

Bronze super easy because it's so easy to get fed Silver is Easy-Moderate because you get all kinds of players and this is the melting pot of skill Gold is Moderate because you need to carry yourself and carry even harder because the opponents are decent Plat Difficult because everyone knows how to freeze/gank/engage/ many others Diamond+ i dont know but what i do know everyone will punish you for 1 mistake

The worst part of silver is Riot implements placements in such a way that it assumes all new players are plat or diamond instead of bronze 5. So you can get a guy that's playing without his monitor, he'll lose 3 games in a row with an 0.06 kda average, but he'll get placed in a high silver/low gold match next because the system just isn't sure yet where he belongs. And the enemy team won't have anything resembling this disadvantage that's been foisted on your team to balance it out because the system is literally assuming he's high silver/low gold. Those games are fun.

Gold is even worse, kiddo.

I beg to differ at least most of the time in gold I get decent teams.

He figured it out. The rankings are actually reversed. Bronze 5 are actually the best players but are only held there because of those Damn feeding teammates and challenger players are only challenger because they get good team mates and use OP stuff.

I don't think either is really the average player having a great understanding of the game. Sure, it may look like Bronze players are roaming and grouping for fights, but 95% of that is just them chasing around for kills. Low ELO teamfights make no sense. It's just HEY THERE'S A DUDE HERE, and the whole map collapses upon him in a volley of ults while the fire drake that first spawned sits idly, chilling 20 minutes in, and all the towers are up, chilling, 20 minutes in.

By Silver, the average player at least seems to understand farm has some sort of mystical impact on their ability to get those kills they craved in Bronze, so they become focused upon it, obsessing over it. Tier 3 tower dive eight minutes into the game top? Sure, the jungler's on the gromp with 90% HP, but FARM. Top or mid pushed the wave into tower and their opponent can't clear it any time soon? Sure, they could roam, but what if they miss FARM???

You're yelling me that bronze players are more skilled in teamfights, rotating, game knowledge? Bro please tell me you realize how stupid that sounds.

If silver was worse than bronze I would not have made it to silver 2 after grtting2 out of bronze after a year and a half.

silver is way worse than bronze. at least in bronze you have players that know and admit that theyre not good and cooperate to make a team effort. silvers all believe they belong in gold and higher therefore only concentrate on carrying themselves. plus I've never been in a tier that freaking quits so easy. couple kills ahead? couple objectives lost? /ff is the answer. and then its because the "team" sucks i'm so over this game just because people that belong in bronze wont go back down to where they're supposed to be.
