Isn't fun relative and opinionated? If you are having fun, go play it and have fun?

go play it then?

haven't tried it but it looks lame. these little arena games can't really compare with the depth of the 3 lane layout of league and dota.

like yeah maybe it has more mechanical skill, maybe it has more tactical depth, but overall that kind of game is child's play compared to a game that precariously walks the tightrope between micro and macro.

That said, I still don't know what's the difference between micro and macro...

But then again, derails.

......

@OP, Battlerite and League are not really the same game. Battlerite has no items, lanes/roaming/pathing, only having 1 map objective in comparison to League's various structure and jungle objectives, not really having snowball etc, it's a straight up arena brawler, and so they require different skills, with some overlap with League. If you find Battlerite more fun, no reason to stop, just keep playing what you enjoy. But I don't find shitting on League, because you enjoy apples more then oranges, fair tbh.

micro: the stuff you do in a fight or other short term scenarios.

macro: decisions that are more long term and taking the whole map into account, like deciding what lane manipulation to do, where/when to rotate, whether or not to contest objectives, etc...

Ah, I see. Thanks.

its not that i dont enjoy league. its just league is impossible to have fun on now. you either are a meta slave bitch or you lose period. so many things are broken and unbalanced yet riot has refused to change them for months. champions, items ect.you either play this champ and get this item or you lose, thats all league is. you cant have fun anymore and there is no skill anymore

For me, outside of Riot's absurd fetish with having ADC+Support being the center of balance and their obsession with crits (which Riot claims they will do something big about it soon, which I dearly hope it's an actual change and not just slaps on the wrist and call it a day), and that they still haven't tweak jungle back to where it was and discourage lane camping by not handing out free jungle xp and dilute xp between higher spawn rates, and my personal nemesis CertainlyT releasing fundamentally broken champs faster than balance team can rework them (like why the hell do you keep this guy around in the team when they need such high level of babysitting to do their job properly? But I won't call people to get fired, that'd be mean. I'll just hope they finally learn what champ design actually mean, instead of just dumping out clearly unbalanceable horseshit and throw it to others to deal with it. And I haven't even stared on just how often CT borderline plagiarise their colleagues to make their stuff, but whatever), otherwise I'm personally still enjoying League or at least still onboard. But hey.

im still onboard too in hopes that they will actually listen to what players want and fix all these dum problems but i have pretty much given up on that. deep down i still like league and still wanna climb to higher elos. but its just not fun anymore.

I guess this opinion is fair. I just hope you'll have more fun there in Battlerite to make up for you not having too much here in League for whatever reasons, or ofc, League will get better and you will have fun again.

Then what are you doing on a league forum? Go play it and have fun.

Battlerite is a fully fleshed out version of the moba teamfight mechanics without the laning phase, map play or strategy. They aren't really comparable since they cater to different desires people have for getting enjoyment out of a game.

Fun is subjective. Some people find league more fun, others find battlerite more fun.

It is. League is 90% laning till someone ff's.

Can you show me the fun meter for the 2 groups of 2000 people you took and asked which was more fun?

I enjoy complexity in the mainstream version of MOBAs the map in Dota 2 is actually sexy as fuck and honestly something im a little jealous we don't have in league. League is a game i find rewarding to play even at my elo and i enjoy the mechanics and pace more then dota which makes it a better game for me to no life. Battlerite is fast paced easy to pick up and is shallow in depth. take your pick but just like most things its subjective to the person playing or doing it which if more people understood how to look at things from other peoples points of view and learn they don't have to hate each other for being different..... well lets just say the world would be a much more "friendly" place.

it like a fun game, none of the heroes are particularly attractive though.
