Riot will there be any action taken against people who are using Bots in player vs AI?

I've made a smurf account lately to play with some friends who aren't accustomed to this game and I've played a few player vs AI games with them. I've been worried about it since every match there's been 1 or more people who are actually bots. I've known this has been a residing problem in this communities less popular game modes (used to be dominion mostly but now it's also bots in the other maps.) Will there be any punishment going on at any point?

Bots have been on every map for years; Dominion bots just happened to be the most well-known. Riot bans bots when they notice them, but botters just keep making more. Reporting and moving on is essentially the only thing players can do.
