New Ashe Build Idea
So I was thinking the other day about the new Ashe and her q. I saw a video where it showed EVER q arrow proc Runaan's, giving massive waveclear and whatnot. Then I realized: Muramana procs on Runaan's! This build revolves around dealing some massive multi target damage while drastically slowing them and having some near limitless kiting capabilities. Anyways, the build:
Doran's Blade Tear (Berserker boots somewhere here) Triforce (Upgrade tear, before or after Runaan's) Runaan's Essence Reaver (Get Furor Boots Enchants somewhere here) Frozen Mallet Optional sub boots for Zephyr
OMG AN ASHE BUILD THAT DOESNT HAVE ANY CRIT OR IE GTFO BRONZIE
Yeah, yeah, I know. I know her passive is all about crit and stuff, and I know that this build has like no crit (count Triforce if you want). I'm just throwing the idea out there that this could work as a fun alternative to a more regular build.
Explanation of the build:
Dorians start, very standard, a must have for adc's in lane
Tear early to start the stacking process because it takes a f***ing long time to stack it on Ashe
Triforce here. I get tri force for the mid game spike to help Ashe through this phase as she's stacking the tear. the sheen proc also syncs up pretty nicely with how most ashes start with w to get the passive before auto attacking away. The mana adds to the AD bonus from Manamune, crit doesn't hurt anybody, and 8% MS plus the phage effect to help with kiting, since Ashe is very immobile
Upgrading tear usually depends on the state of the game and how much you have stacked already. in most cases I'd upgrade it early to a Manamune so you can also stack with your autos.
Runaan's, core part of this concept build. Once you activate q with 5 stacks, you'll be shooting out 5-6 mini autos which each have their set of two runaans bolts. gives insane wave clear and let's be honest, it's just fun. Also once the muramana is completed, every bolt, which applies on hit effects, will hit with a muramana buff, which is an on hit effect. massive multi target devastation which is just beautiful.
Essence Reaver here because at this stage of the game you should somewhat close to finishing Muramana. You need something to support the staggering mana cost of those muramana bolts. Trust me, you'll run oom faster than Anivia without blue buff. Life steal is always nice, CDR can't hurt either.
Furor to kite even more. you can also get alacrities, but you just want more move speed!
Lastly, I put a Frozen Mallet for EVEN MORE KITING. Slow on your passive, slow on mallet, move speed from triforce and boots/zephyr, more move speed from phage and furors, you'll be untouchable. I've also tried getting a botrk for kiting with similar results and more damage with runaans, but I've always liked the massive multi target slow and health better.
Sub boots for zephyr, standard move, but you lose furors. In return, you get more damage, attack speed, CDR, and TENACITY. The move speed ends up to be about the same, maybe a little less mathematically. it's your choice.
So that's it. The new Ashe build. I'm not saying this is op, I'm not saying this is better than the normal Ashe build with ie shiv pd bt and whatever, and I'm definitely not saying this will be the new groundbreaking meta where lcs will be fighting to pick Ashe and rito will nerf her. it's just an interesting new way to build and play Ashe, and it's fun as hell to see those runaan's bolts shred through minions, monsters and champions.
