Training Game Modes
Hi everyone, I had a thought for training game modes. Basically it'll simulate real in game scenarios. The idea is to allow players to practice the frequently occurring scenarios that come in their solo q games. For example: say there is a baron contesting training mode. You would blind/draft pick your champions and spawn in with say, 12k gold. The Rift would be limited to the area around baron, so maybe the entire river, and the two closest jungle quadrants. Baron could have a 2 minute spawn timer and give a buff for only a minute so people could practice securing/stealing as well as fighting before and after. Baron spawns say, 5 times and then the game is over to provide quick games. There is the problem of people specifically picking nunu/cho gath/5 smite teams, ruining the purpose.
Another could be a team fight simulator: In this mode, 4 team fights would occur: where players would start with 5k, 10k, 15k, and 20k gold, to simulate team fighting throughout the stages of the game. The computer could also randomly select players on both teams to start with an extra 20% gold to simulate being fed The computer will randomly select say, a 3000x3000 unit space 4 times on the Rift where the players would spawn in. Players can practice team fighting, experiment with wombos, and improve communications.
I have other ideas such as dragon fighting, laning and csing, split pushing, tower diving, and much more. Let me know what you guys think!
