Why is this score only worth a B+?

As a support main, I find it extremely frustrating when I am awarded with a B+ after my team loses a game wherein the score is 20/29/45, when my score is 0/3/17. Why is 85% kill participation only worthy of a B+? In my experience as a support, the only time I can get S- or higher is when I have 5 or more kills and have taken turrets. Why is this set up so that, regardless of ward score, assists, kill participation, deaths, etc., the only way for a support to get a high grade is to play like an ADC?

This score was in my most recent game. If you take a look, it becomes even more outrageous, as my score is unequivocally better than anyone's but the enemy's primary carry.

If this sort of thing isn't resolved, I'll start building ADC on Thresh "support" and just score S+ by trolling my own team.

Liltimmyjenkins, you just aren't playing well enough to get an S. 15 wards in a 36 minute game is horrible. You may think you need to play like an ADC, but you don't. Wards matter a lot and next patch assists will be equal to if not better than kills for support. So no, you did not deserve any rank higher than a B+ with how few wards you placed.

EDIT: and trust me, this is all truth, I got Sona to level 7 the day after 6 and 7 were released.
