So, do you HAVE to be in a team for your s rank to give you a chest? cause i just got an s rank but no chest :c also, does your team have to have all members active? cause i few days ago i was in a team with one afk and someone got an s rank bit i still got no chest. Oh, and no, i dont have wait time for my chest, it says i can get it now, i just haven't gotten one. am i just doing something wrong?[zombie-nunu-tears]
VivaLaKitten3 votesYou can only earn a chest on each champion you own ONCE per season, meaning if you already won a chest with Bard, then you can't win another on Bard the entire season. (or maybe forever, pretty sure its just each season though) To check what champions already have a chest, go to your profile area (top right) go to champions: owned and see which have a yellow chest or yellow square around them.

frskydngo2 votesI think it has been changed. I believe now you only get a chest if you get the S rating and own the champ. Can't earn keys either if you don't own the champ. Found that out after getting a S rank on a free rotation champ.

Was your team in a pre-made? Just going solo into a game and a team mate getting an S does not give you a chest.

cuddlykitten41 votesYou can get chests from teammates when you're solo. I almost play exclusively solo, and I have obtained plenty of chests from teammates who got S ratings that I had never interacted with before that game's lobby.

I don't que with ppl on my friends list very often because the MMR is usually really high or really low compared to where I am and I prefer to play at a level more accurate to me. You don't have to believe me, I don't care if some faceless person online wants to say I'm wrong or right. What I said is how it is, that's just how it is.
