Please, let everyone who reported a person know when they're punished for it?

A while ago, someone told me that when a person is penalized for behavior, it only informs the people who played (and reported them) in the last game with that person. I have only got said message once, and i've been in more than a few games with certain people who's cruel behavior made me shudder to think we were the same species. I would really like to know if my report made any sort of difference, if those people were ever punished for their unforgivable behavior, or if it really is what i fear and my report meant absolutely nothing, like how it feels now. So, could riot please consider the option to let everyone who reported a person, whether they were in a recent game or not, know if their report made a difference?

I think Riot wants to discourage reporting for revenge as much as possible. Giving players constant updates on how their reports have attributed to X bans would pander to that desire for revenge.

Once the person is reported, it's between them and Riot. The reporting party is unlikely to see them again in a game anyway.

You have a very valid point. I just wish there was some way to let you know your report (when the person wasnt penalized after your particular game) still actually meant something.

Simply informing someone of weather a report resulted in punishment is enough. Do you need to know that your report on day/month/year resulted in player xyz receiving punishment delta

That isn't what I mean. "Simply informing someone of weather a report resulted in punishment is enough." I agree with that, that's what i would like to happen, for people to know when someone they reported is punished. From what I understand, the only ones informed are the people who reported the person in the last game they were toxic/afk/reportable action, not the ones who might have reported them the game before for instance. Just a "Someone you reported was punished" would be fine.

all reports matter,dont stop reporting people simply because your not given the notification

I don't intend to. I only wish we could have a little more validation that reports do make a difference.
