Match making

Well, I was against a team with three plats on it, and I'm silver no where near plat. My team wasn't anywhere near their rank and we ended up getting destroyed in the game as expected. I'm only silver and I still can't do anything in my games yet I'm still placed against higher ranked players in my norms by a long shot. I'm constantly against plats and sometimes even diamonds. And I'm guessing to justify this in their match making it's cause they put one low level or unranked person on their team to balance out the mmrs? Is it at all possible to be against other silvers? Like games now either i get destroyed by some plats on the other team or the other team gets destroyed by some plat player on my team that hard carries me. I want to be able to carry my own games sometimes or could it at least be a group effort to win. All i can do is just sit back and watch people do things while i'm useless bot lane doing nothing. One may say its because my mmr in norms in really high, but how does one win where i get kind of fed justify me getting placed against people way better than me for the next 5 or 6 games. The match making system makes want to int at the end of won games to ruin my kda so its doesn't seem like i carried and my mmr still drops so that my next few games are playable.
