Seeing that vision is important perhaps it can go to the trinket ward slot when it gets purchased with a full build. Then when you've use it, it switches back automagically to your ward/sweeper or w/e you had there before buying the control ward.
You guys realize that idea of being unable to build pinks while full-build is intended?
The longer game goes, the more safety nets are removed. Turrets damage, vision from turrets, base defenses matter less.
When everyone is full build then they shouldn't be able to dump their spare money into three pinks. It would stall late games into even bigger extremes.
It's intentional. Ultra lategame shall be different, with dark map. Riot want it that way. They said it several times.
so many times where i was full build but couldnt get my control ward for baron ;-;

and is also one of the reason why Ashe is the best supp in the game ;p
At full build you're supposed to ARAM mid and end the game :p
Honestly surprised the dev team didn't think of this!
and other vision items (such as 
line) should get a second slot called "vision slot" where you have your normal trinket (Stealth Ward or Sweeping Lens) then in the "vision Slot" you can have or any ward based item. but can only have one at a time. if you go for the (or any similar item) it will be in the vision slot but be inactive until reaching the quest goal. if you go it will go there and be ready to go.
one more point to stop playing league not only the balance is aufwl right now and full of unfair champions like zed but the game just got no counterplay i stopped playing league anymore guess why? because is getting even worst since season 6 i miss old days when league was balanced and fun to play and players where not toxic or champions where not so unbalanced and items too like season 5 .
Rito has already said that this is intended and that they like the fact that, in their words, "the map darkens" as more champions reach full builds.
can we get a 2k upgrade on the support items where it increases the ward count by 1 and gives the wards a red/pink effect? only reason im saying 2k is so that it is unviable to rush it and is only intended as a late game buy.
Yea I agree let's remove wards completely so people can stop using them as an excuse for assassins being broken.
They really should just replace the recall icon anyone new can learn how to recall via in game tips or the tutorial and no one clicks the recall icon to recall. People say that this will "make games longer" but I really only find this being the biggest hindrance mid game, where you have item completed while building others.

You cannot purchase a Control ward with full build since that would lower the game's skill expression, and as you know, Riot would not like that one bit.
people don't even buy wards when they have space or gold , its not a bad idea but u think any one will late on the game xdd

Lategame is supposed to be risky. I think that is why they dont give slots for control ward.
Ok how about this, the first champion on each corresponding team to reach full build gets the option to buy 2 control wards maximum to replace their trinket temporarily..that way the map will still be relatively dark while still rewarding the best players by not hindering their build.
maybe add it to the support item so it can hold like 2 max control wards
