Is a flash kill some sort of dumb thing to do?
So I was playing a game and I flash killed a Rengar that was carrying the game. Was that a troll or rly stupid move of mine because right after hes calling me boosted and retarded.

Lol. That Rengar was probably just salty. Unless you didn't need to flash, there's nothing wrong with it as far as I can see :P
Acceptable flash kills:
- The jungler for drag/baron control.
- The enemy's main source of wave clear during a seige.
- Laning if you want to back without it costing you your advantage in lane.
- Fed ADCs in team fights.
Otherwise i say save it to save yourself.
I've heard from higher elo players to generally not waste a flash on a kill. There have definitely been moments where I used flash for a kill and ended up regretting it but also moments where it's like "Fuck yeah!".
Just gotta weight the options during the certain circumstance. Flash & get kill, or keep flash for an escape? Depends where you are too, like I wouldn't flash for a kill in an enemy jungle with little vision because odds are you may need it to escape.
The reason why you don't generally flash kill is that sometimes your opponent has flash as well, so you either end up trading flash for flash, or alternatively the trade turns on you. Higher Elo players and even LCS players would flash if they knew for sure that it would kill their opponent. If he flashed and he died and they weren't able to collect anything else from it by all means it was a good play.

Still, it depends on your role and the stage of the game and what situation it leaves you in after.
If it's late game and you're the adc, and you flash into the middle of the enemy team to kill the enemy jg, only to be destroyed immediately after, it's almost certainly not worth. On the other hand if theres vision of everyone else and the flash gets you a kill without putting you at any danger, then it's probably worth.

He was worth gold so its probably fine, if he doesnt like it he can go fuck himself
Ive seen Mixed responces but I think it has do with playstyle, some people like to use there flash more to escape dangerous situations and some only use it to snowball/get fed. each way has its ups and downs and Ive learned something from this. thx for all the great responces!
