Looking for Rune Advice...

One area where I totally suck at, is coming up with Rune Pages. Can anyone point me in the direction of some good pages or resources (other than champ specific pages on lolking) for making some general pages for AD, AP and Tank? Mostly looking for some pages that will work for now until I can afford runes to customize.

Ok, so I may have promised to help you out after this game, and it may be 5 hours later... Now in my defense I didn't say WHICH game and uhhh... yeah sorry. Anyways you were looking at general rune pages for AD, AP, and Tank.

This is roughly what I use:

AD: Marks: Greater Attack Damage Seals: Greater Armour Glyphs: You can run full AS, I prefer to mix in some mana regen because I play Ez a bit an like to spam. Quints: Greater AS. I run lifesteal because I use mine for jgling a lot and I like the sustain. In lanes dorans will heal you more with AS Quints than flat dorans plus LS quints.

AP: Marks: Greater Magic Pen Seals: I run armour because I am cheap, flat health tends to be more popular though Glyphs: These are up to you really. I run 3 scaling mana regens + 6 flat cdr runes for early spamming ability. I play Ahri and being able to get my passive off more is nice. I recommend looking up some general AP guides for AP champs you play and basing it off that. Quints: Flat AP

Tank: Marks: Either flat MR or Armour. I would go MR if you don't have a different page for AD tank and AP tank Seals: Flat Armour Glyphs: I actually use the same things here as my AP runes because getting your cc up and being able to stay in lane is very nice. Also because I play Nasus and I like them. As with the AP Glyphs I would look up some general tank builds and go off that. Maybe health or health regen. Quints: Flat Armour. You basically do nothing but stack armour.

Hope that helps and sorry about the delay!

Runes these days are very fine tuned for specific champions and playstyles. Generalized rune pages are okay, but honestly you SHOULD be making specific pages based on champion guides and common sense.

Sure, have to finish this game first though.

Look at the common rune pages for all the champs you play, figure out which runes they share, work from that.

Really just adc, ap, tank, ap attack speed, ad caster, move speed. Really only need the first 2-3. But I find AP attack speed page helps my jung clearing phenomenally. Depends on your champ pool and style. Stock up on 2 for 1 biannual sale days
