I understand many factors affect LP gains and losses, but I have been consistently getting less and less LP for my wins...
Just wondering what the standard ranges are, because I feel like climbing out of Bronze is going to be almost impossible when I'm getting 16LP for a win and losing 20 for a loss...
What sort of LP gains are you guys seeing and what Divisions are ya'll in?
Last week in plat 3, I was at 60% win rate in recent games, which gave me 24 LP per win and 17 per loss.
Right now after tilting down to plat 5, I am 40% win rate in recent games, which gives me 19 per win and 19 per loss.
Part of the reason is likely because you have a 43% win rate in your current division. The game is trying to balance you into a division you will have more success in. If you start winning more games than you lose your lp gain rate will increase and your lp loss will decrease as the game tries to move you into a division or league that is more suitable to your skill level.
Basically if you want to climb the ladder play champs your have a higher win rate with. I looked you up on na.op.gg. I noticed you have a win rate of 50% or better on azir and talon. If I were you I would just play those 2 champs to climb. Avoid Darius, even though I see you like playing him, but your win rate over the last 2 seasons is ~30%. Playing him will more likely make you slide backwards. Queue up for mid as primary (play azir and talon) and find a secondary role and a couple champs you have success playing with.
Place less focus on lp gains and losses. Steadily improving your play, and picking champs you have success on will show results
It comes down to your win loss, more losses than wins = less exp per win . if you're experiencing less lp per a win, it's usually because your MMR is lower than the average player in your division, in other words, you're playing with lower ranked players, thus making it easier for you to win, so in turn you gain lower LP than if you were vs someone in your ranking. Average gain in lp should be something like 23-25 and a loss of 16-18
