Remember when
League of legends took skill.
When a tank couldn't sit in lane and be a bully to bruisers because they scaled so well mid-late game?
When lane bullies were able to get a lead and through proper macro and micro management, be able to keep it because they're entire kit didn't get countered just by building tabis?
When adcs took until 30minutes before they became death sentences, but still acceptable because if they positioned properly and their teams peeled for them, they could actually do their JOB -- sustained damage and not BPS?
When you could slow push a lane, group and watch that slow push build into a monstrous wave taking towers?
When split push was a viable strategy?
When the biggest part of being a team revolved around being able to enable your carry to carry -- or rather, shut down the ONE carry on the enemy team? (that 5/0 Riven or fiora, or darius or whoever it be)
When champion weaknesses could be compensated through pure skill?
When trades mattered?
When there was a cycle to things?
When there wasn't invisible power -- be it MS buffs, extra AD or tower/epic monster being burnt to the ground in seconds?
When taking dragon was a team effort and only few junglers were able to solo it?
When baron was a 30 minute objective?
