4/30 PBE Update: Combat Text Adjustments, Tentative Cinderhulk Changes, and more

This nerf's not gonna change anything. She's mid (aaand supp.). Again, nerfing her aa range won't do anything; it won't silence the complains nor make Annie users happy. There needs to be another solution. I mean, she's a mage. not an adc who needs aa's for life. Of course, it might make laning a little bit more tiring for Annie(I don't even think it will), but she still has more range than other midlaners. Riot should even her kit out more than changing other non-related stuff without killing her burst-type of fight.

Sorry I've gotten this news so late; haven't been checking surr@20 lately. But I'm pissed if this actually makes it through since it means Riot's not really trynna actually balance her.

It will hurt her Support a lot. Many mage supports harass with auto attacks (especially at lower levels) because they don't start with much AP/mana regen and if they rush sightstone they won't get much for a while. A lot of high elo players will use Hybrid Pen marks on supports like Morgana or Annie to make those auto attacks more powerful. Annie having that large of an AA range made her pretty strong as a support.

Same goes for what the others said mid. Either she can sit on 3 or 4 stun charges to have her stun ready for you, in which case she needs to last hit with auto attacks which makes her more susceptible to taking poke and also prevents her poking you with autos, or she can use her spells to have better range but then you get windows of opportunity around her stun.

I'm happy. The combo Kalista + Annie will lose the free poke part. It's not the nerf everyone wanted but It's something.

Annie charges her stun and then can't harass with AA from long range. She has to either hold her stun and get dangerously close to harass, or she can poke with q and stay safe but not have her stun up.

Its a good change.
