my theory is that they're not actually people who care or even know anything about game balance or champion design or fun gameplay. riot hires people based on whether or not they look like b-list sitcom actors that can give off that 'cool, chill vibe' during their video spots.

They do some good things, but they do a lot more bad things IMHO. The worst is not nerfing champions that have OBVIOUSLY been OP for a long time.
