Is it me, am I just bad? I feel like there is an absurd amount of smurfs in silver now towards the end of the season. I cant climb for shit, everyone is getting boosted. So many accounts with extremely high win rates on champions never played before. Maybe people have just been grinding norms on new champs. #Frustrated

some people towards the end of the season make smurfs for the edges of ELO to prevent people getting the next tier rewards by throwing/stomping games the "you've gotta earn it mentality"
Lightsity1 votesI've noticed alot of people surprisingly jumping elos suddenly as well, what bothers me isn't the smurf, but hard to climb against that when your team sits there complaining half the time, but part of it could be you as well. I doubt either you or I will ever do perfect in a game, so there are things you can probably work, on but the smurf and people getting boosted concept is true, and is annoying to try to carry against.
