Has anyone at Riot ever discussed reworking summoner spells?
Summoner spells are the longest cooldowns you've got. They're supposed to be your trump cards yet they all just feel so....basic. With the exception of flash and teleport every summoner spell feels very monosituational. Use exhaust to slow down an assassin or adc's damage. Use ignite to turn a maybe-kill into a kill. Don't use heal and listen to your support complain. In a game about making the absolute most of every ability summoner spells really just feel like barely-noticeable kicks.
