With the Zyra and Malzahar Updates coming, Heimerdinger falls farther and farther from becoming meta

Honestly just the looks of these kits remind of Heimerdinger and seem just flat out better overall.

Heimer is about zone control with his turrets since they dont expire unless killed and he can freely and manually reposition them.

Malzahar's W doens't let him do that. He doesn't have any direct control of them. All he really does is swarm enemies he afflicts with Void Cancer. Zyra, you may have mor eof a point with, but in her case, it is only a potential zone and is temporary.

Herimy in a sense is more comparable to Cait, where you set up camp, and then inch your way along while seiging.

Malzahar doesn't resemble this at all, as his Voidlings last 12 seconds and have to melee auto attack to be relevant. In the case of Zyra, you can just walk on her plants. Her Zone is more for countering engages than actually zoning since her plants only spawn upon retaliation and last a fixed amount of time before dying.

The things keeping Heimy from being "meta" are purely his own issue, not that of other champs crowding him out.

The usage of Zyra's plant's as turrets and Malzahars ability to spawn voidlings reminds me alot of Heimerdinger's main part of his kit, turret placement.

Those are abilities they've always had. Do you not know the current Zyra and Malz kits?

Yes, but I just feel they are being further integrated into those aspects, such as the amount of voidlings and activating 1 spell to make all zyra plants attack you, yes Zyra is still like that but on a smaller scale.

Just letting you know, I don't like her new Q shape right now because it's a lot harder to poke and got damage nerf. Her passive is very random right now, it's not good but not bad. You can't control where the seeds go and it's really irritating. Just letting you a head up that if you want your champ to rework, re-think about it. You might regret for asking it. If you have a chance please tell riot to revert her Q wall shape back to the circle one again. Appreciate it.
