Top laners that support

Trundle, Shen, Malphite, Poppy, Volibear can be decent supports.

Out of those, I would say Trundle and Shen are probably the most useful.

These guys can work as supports as long as you don't act stupid about it lol

tri force alistar was a thing, but lulu tends to be good at it, not tank tho. Mao is pretty support.

i keep taking bot lane, knockup, slow, and great damage from all the early health stacking from sightstone/mountain.

and the god level 6 engage.

not a tank, but is essentially a mix of melee bruiser/support.

he is usually strong, when he has a strong adc to ult for the ghost.

I would reccomend Poppy, although Gangplank has some supportive properties as well.

support is pretty hilarious. I actually prefer him in that role to top lane. You could also be a dick and play support.

Trundle works in lane with his pillar, and works after lane with his ult to shred the enemy tank.

Any tank can really be played as a support later in the game after the laning phase is done. Most of them will have the CC needed to peel for the ADC and because they're tanks they'll be able to soak up the damage.

I run Maokai down there a lot. here's how I do it:

1. Take Q,W,E,Q - then max W first, Q second, and R when you can.

2. I rush , grab boots second. With Mao, you want to keep that root uptime going so I generally take but isn't the worst options.

3. - you need to get money, and this thing CSs for you post langing phase. You also need speed.

4. - makes him almost invincible.

5. At this point it's all "take what's best" but I like Mao as a health tank so I go and for my last two slots.

One man's opinion.

Sion can work pretty well, especially with an Ashe or Jhin adc. Also Shen.

Sion, Maokai, Malphite, Sejuani, Poppy, Gragas, Shen, Volibear, Zac are all extremely viable. Illaoi, Mundo, Darius, Trundle also work but are far less effective.

Looks like are the top picks, now i just need to figure out how to build them support, vs top lane.
