At least explain why{{summoner:2}} isn't being removed. I mean, come on, who needs it when you can take

redniwediS2 votesI hate arguments that take need into account. You don't need any summoners. All you need to do is to destroy enough towers to take down the enemy Nexus. Literally everything else is optional.

redniwediS1 votesThe LCS is a bad example. They play in a team based meta that our meta only mimics.
People pick summoner spells because they are better than having none, and they pick the "best" spells in order to have an advantage over their opponents. A player who outskills another can do so without summoners, and as such they are completely optional.
Revive gave players an option that Riot is no longer happy with, and so it has been removed. Clairvoyance gives players an option that Riot has not stated an opinion on, and so it stays.
