Done With This Game (surprise, it's Rito's fault)

GG Rito, you finally got me to leave. Who am I? I'm a solo queue player, the exact type of player you don't want playing this game. I don't play Dynamic Queue with a pre-made team because I believed that individual skill and working together with non pre-mades were a good measurement of skill in this game.

As it turns out, I was wrong, because there is no more individual skill.

You might think, oh, so this is going to be a post about Dynamic Queue? Well, it is and it isn't.

I just finished a run of 4 losses with 4 feeders/AFKs at Diamond 5. You know who is in Diamond 5? Several good players and...several awful players. Players who got boosted to this ELO by using Dynamic Queue to their advantage. When I have someone in my game going a minimum of 1-10 each game, there's a problem. It means this person was never meant to be at this skill level (or rank), but somehow made it here anyway. You wouldn't get this bad a problem with Solo Queue.

In addition, constantly getting pre-mades on my team as well as the other team's has led to this being a very disappointing and frustrating experience for me. Three people co-ordinating amongst themselves without communicating with you is just as bad as not communicating at all at times. With positive KDAs in 90% of games and your team continues to lose, and lose, and lose, you begin to wonder why you even play this game in the first place.

Well, guess what? Overwatch just came out, the first big game in several years to actually appeal to League's market. I'd love to stay with League, but Dynamic Queue and a lack of punishment for feeders/AFKs (and zero security for whoever is on their team, you just outright lose LP and rank) has destroyed this game and will continue to do so.
