So...I just played a trio vs all solos in Ranked
So, my worst fears of Dynamic Queue are being constantly realized in this game.
I played (and present tense -- play) solo queue in order to test my own skills against other solo queue players. When I heard of the new Dynamic Queue, I was extremely hesitant about it due to 4-man and 5-man queues being possibly placed against 1-man and 2-man queues. And guess what? I was 100% correct.
It was the worst when Dynamic Queue first came out and began to level out. Now, the higher I climb (Plat 2 now), the more I am seeing multiple people queued together on one or both teams. And let me tell you Rito, it's really not very fun at all to be playing with or against a 3-man+ team queued together.
Playing with them, it's nice to have coordinated ganks and a good rotation of turrets and lanes, but it also sucks to constantly be harassed and yelled at for getting caught out, not saving one of the pre-mades, not giving them kills, or some other nonsense.
And worse, playing against them means you are constantly ganked by 4-man teams of bot-lane, mid-lane and a Shen or TF ulti (and the fifth person sometimes randomly TPs in as well). It's not indicative of skill if both teams don't have the same number of pre-mades queued together.
Case in point: my last game I noticed the enemy team was heavily co-ordinating 4-man ganks on our bot lane. After polling both teams, we discovered that the enemy team had a trio (support and top were solo), while our team was composed of all 5 solo queue players. We tried to claw our way back after being down 12 kills, but you can only do so much when the other team is coordinating all their teleports and ganks together.
People have told me to just accept it and move on or, even worse, to just stop playing and wait for the Solo Queue to be released. And to them I say: what Solo Queue? You really think Rito is still releasing a Solo Queue option? They said it would be out 2-3 weeks after Dynamic Queue was released and we've seen absolutely zero progress on it. That's because Rito never intended to release a Solo Queue option. They just said that so we'd be quiet and accept this disaster that is Dynamic Queue.
