Smite Changes on Pbe are a BIG ???

This is how you know rito does not understand why the smiting ammo system was implemented in the first place

Smite changes on pbe summoner 11 -recharge rate changed to 90 secs from 75 secs

  • ammo charge starts at 1:40 instead of 1:25
  • no smite buffs

if there are no smite buffs, what is the point of having an ammo system of smite and why nerf smite if there is nothing worthwhile to smite. If they added crazy smite buffs and nerfed smite so people have to choose which smite buff they rly want then i can understand these nerfs.

just bring back the original 60 secs 1 smite, junglers are already playing at a 1 summoner disadvantage, why nerf the summoner they are forced to take.

maybe im just overreacting, i honestly think jungle was healthiest when spirit stones existed and smite was 60 seconds. Yes im aware of the 100 hp u get when u use smite on a camp but with the existing jungle items like skirmishers and stalkers (which are the most dominant ones) most ppl who buy these items dont even smite camps that often.

its possible im being dumb and i dont get the point of these changes. if someone or a rioter could explain the reasoning behind this, that would be nicesummoner 11 summoner 11

  • Smite buffs were removed for the compensation of the incoming Plant kits.
  • 2 charges of Smite meaning that you can get to use them more often in teamfights instead of just the monsters.
