I really hope the new runes dont become too broken

Whilst i trust Riot in knowing what they are doing, i still fear that the new runes will have an unpleasant start.

Anyone with me here? Personally i really fear this Preseason, honestly

so far the only Rune that has really stood out to me as being broken is Press the Attack.

Its simply way too overbearing on champions with true damage MasterYi Fiora Camille and it makes a complete and utter non factor when theyre in the game because of the ridiculous scaling.

PtA needs to have a softcap around like 90 -100 AD because right now its WAYYY too fucking nutty and it WILL be gutted if it hits Live like this.

Lethal Tempo actually isnt as bad as you think because often a special build is needed to take advantage of the "AS break" part. so a Jinx building to hit 5.0 AS usually only ends up with like 100-150 AD meaning the Rune naturally levels itself out in a DPS race against more well rounded stuff. The only person its exceptionally broken on probably will be a on-hit Kog'Maw because Kog can get away with such a build and just supplement his damage with his W effect and probs Master Yi because once again On-Hit true damage ( Riot should really just give Yi a GU already.....)

anyways all the runes I find are actually pretty tame in testing some even disappointingly weak (looking at you Arcane Comet). For the most part some interactions might need a bit of ironing out sure but the Runes overall are a AMAZING addition to League. You truly can customize the way you want to play a character and the playstyle from runepage to runepage will be so drastically different its adds so much re-playability to LoL.

@thread The only real problem is the massive disparity between AD champions and mages in the new runes. AD champs are favored to an absurd extreme.

The AP side of the runes needs more fleshing out i feel. And we need an analogue for DFT - ive seen some thoughts about making press the advance interact with DoTs, which would be very nice.
