Yesterday i witnessed a disgusting and a precious side of the Community all in one Game

So i was in a Normal Game, casually playing Garen since i got his new Skin, fighting Aatrox in Toplane. For some Reason i though it was a good idea to go risky in this Meta, fed a Kill, and lost Toplane instantly from there on. My Jungle Kayn ganked me later, feeding a Double Kill with me. Both of us remained quiet, but i knew it was my fault. Later in the game, kayn was more or less our only reliable sort of Frontline, since i was still behind = not tanky. The Game ended with my glourious Score of 0/10/1, Insults from my Midlaner (I dont blame him tho) and 2 "gg ez" from the enemies.

Then i received a tilt-proof honor and a friend request. I talked to the Kayn Player a bit, about how i managed to stay silent etc, how that was prob my worst game since weeks and that i hate this meta so much still. It was a truly pain- and tilt relieving talk, from Player to Player.

Everytime when i try to just hate the Community and everyone in it, i stumble upon such beautiful Persons that i love it again, its amazing.

I actually like to give a tilt proof honor our the worst performing player (assuming everyone was similar in regards to behavior) for reasons like this.

If that little honor can help someone untilt and make their bad day good, it's done a good job.

The fact that one kill automatically meant you couldn't come back in lane is one jarring thing about League itself.

Glad you managed to have a good experience after.

This is far more coal than there is diamonds in this game. The boards are proof of that. But once you find that diamond, never let go of it.

I'm a jungle main and players like you make my day in a wierd way. We're never going to win them all but you don't know how many players just blame the jungler for their 0/10 stat line. Instead, you looked to improve and were nice to your jg. I hope the games you have 0/10 are much fewer and farm between but if you're ever on the NA server feel free to message me.

I still think that one kill doesn't mean the lane is over, if you can out cs your enemy and learn how to trade from behind (but I'm a crappy laner so I know what to do but not really best at doing it).

I wish you the best of luck. Players like you are players who are refreshing to play with, even with the occasional loss.

It's like sifting through hundreds of tons of earth, hunting for rare minerals. It's back-breaking work and it feels thankless, but in the end it's worth it for those few prized gem stones.

Glad you had that experience.

I do tend to honor my adc when I play support, except for situations like you mentioned.

GG wp!

Props for staying cool and not raging out in chat. You helped ensure that the game didn't become a completely miserable experience for others. More of us in the community should be more like you.

Edit: I'd give tilt proof to badly performing players but I'm afraid they will take it the wrong way and think I was teasing them for being bad. (That's not something I do, but it seems like streamers do it a lot).

I came here to read a story of pure salt and liquid fury, but I was delightfully surprised to read the exact opposite. Good on you, and good on that Kayne.

Intermittent reinforcement...even knowing what it is, I can't get away from it. It's too bad that all the actually nice people on here either get buried in a mountain of shit, or end up becoming part of the problem. Nice to hear someone talking about something good for a change, though. Nice post. Made me feel a little warm and fuzzy.

I agree with Kei143, we need to praise our worst players, not the best. ( i mean yah, the best player did the best, so he deserves some recognition for it by more IP or something, idc) But we do NOT need to trash our "bad" players just for having a bad game, of course this only implies if their not going rammus, ghost, tp, and 6 zeal down mid lane.

Gosh this is a nice little reminder when I'm tempted to flame someone that their is a better approach

"Feeding piece of garbage noobshit trash. Please ban this piece of shit garbage player from ranked. He needs to be playing beginner bots, not humans" - The intentional feeding report I send every time someone on my team goes 0-10, 2-13 or any shit like that.

Just thought I'd share this. Don't be cross when people are mad. This kind of feeding tilts the fuck out of your team mates. On the extremely rare occasion I feed this much, I know I deserve every bitter piece of flame I get.

...was that Aatrox me? It may have been. My apologies if so.

That's the best feeling. One that I wish I and others could experience more, we need more positivity in this community.

Lucky. I just get assholes all the time. I mean yeah I'm not a good player, but I'm giving it my all. What else do you want from me?

We need more people like your jungler!
