If you're going tank, Armor Pen. Chance are that Tank Jarvan will regularly be fighting against other tanks to defend the carry.

If you're going bruiser, AD. That way you can build some survivability + early game damage. I usually go Armor Pen anyways since I plan for long games.

Glass Cannon is going to be AS Definitely not a good choice on J4 to go squishy since he typically lanes with tough characters who take take advantage of him easily. AS scales fast if you max J4's Demacian Standard. Still not the best option.
