I have been hearing a lot of people say that so and so is unplayable now GG Rito TY for nerfs

Well those people are wrong, there is not one champ that is completely unplayable. But the thing is there are a lot of champs that are just to much work to play as just to be close to as strong as Riot's precious babies, JarvanIV LeeSin Nidalee Zed and a couple of others. That is the main problem with the game right now, is that you can play whichever champ you want in the game and they can be strong but you will have to work ten times harder then someone who picks the god children. For example I like to play Aatrox in the jungle a lot and I can become pretty strong in a game with him but I have to figure out all the optimal pathing, best times to gank, and just think much harder than if I just picked LeeSin and did what ever pathing I want and didn't have to worry if I screwed up with a couple of ganks because the game would then be designed around me. That is what is killing diversity in the game it's not just the fact that these champs are overpowered but also the fact that these characters are having the game DESIGNED around them instead of all of the other champs in the game. This game will never be balanced as long as the game is being balanced around them and not the much larger cast of characters.

The best example of this is the new jungle, 3 of the 4 champs I named up above are the official gods of the jungle right now and it's not just because they are op it's mainly because they are the main champs that are designed for the jungle perfectly right now. Now I have a question is having to think of buffs for all of the other junglers so they can match up in strength to these characters more or less work than just designing the jungle around the other 30 or so other junglers and then nerfing the super powers to a stable strength of all the other champs? In my opinion yes, it is more work to buff every single champ that doesn't work perfectly in the jungle like these champs than just fixing the jungle then nerfing 3 champs.

Then there is the other child the one that doesn't dominate the jungle but instead mid lane Zed. You want to know why Zed has become an even bigger power house then he was before it's not just because of a couple of buffs it's also because his one major weakness is gone and that is constant poke. Yes there still are some champs the can poke him but think about it what is his main complaint that everyone says about him "he's to safe" is the general consensuses. Well he was much less safe before the mana regen nerfs because before that he could dive you whenever he pleased because he would usually be at much lower health because he had been poked down, but now he wins once you have exhausted your mana from doing as much poke as you can while he just constantly throws shurikens without a thought in the world. So I hope that I have shown that buffs and nerfs to champs will not stop the game from being unbalanced it will only stop once Riot figures out that they need to balance the game for the other 120 champs that they made instead f the select few that they have deemed worthy.

What you're saying has basically been said already. I can sum up your point pretty well I think.

TL;DR Champions are good, but they're nothing compared to the best champions, and there's no reason to pick them.

There's always going to be a "best" "meta" "popular" champion for certain roles though. Balance seems almost as subjective as objective honestly if you listen to any of the forums for 5 minutes (and usually less time is required than that).

I am not only saying that I am also saying that balancing the game around the best champs is not going to fix any of the issues with balancing and I know Riot will probably not even glance at my post but I can always hope.
