PSA: Stop building Titanic Hydra on Darius.

Titanic Hydra is trash item on Darius. Gives only mediocre ad, and the extra damage on hit is useless. The only good thing about it is the auto reset.

Well... Titanic Hydra has passive damage linked directly to your health. I think it depends on what you are building with Hydra before outright calling it trash. A safer statement would be "Stop building Titanic Hydra first", since I'm guessing some are picking this up for the extra waveclear the passive provides. In some situations the waveclear might be good, but Black Cleaver is cheaper with more AD and armor shred.

Titanic Hydra just feels like an item Darius would pick up if he has conceded a lost lane and plans to build Tank. That or the team he is on lacks a tank/front line thus forcing him to take on the Tank role.

All are at least okay on Darius, but tbh he only really needs a BC to deal damage.

Titanic is better than death's dance and youmuus which are both incredibly specific niche picks that are almost never the best option to build. Maw is almost always an optional item considering how much magic resist/health you get through a standard build while Steraks is pretty much the only truly common item you listed that is built on Darius...

Titanic isn't a terrible item to build. It's better than most of the items you just listed and provides a decent amount of synergy. If the enemy has immobile squishies then that extra auto + stack helps a great deal.

if you've built BC, grab the first part of Steraks/Titanic. As you're laning and as the game plays out, decide on titanic or steraks. the OP is a very biased individual, and gave zero context for build paths or situations in which to not build hydra. Titanic hydra is a great item for health-stacking builds, especially if they've an immobile AD or mid that are squishy.
