#Why Jinx's Traps have a decent set up time with little to no reward, while Cait can put a snare in your head and nuke you out of a safe distance with almost no set up time?

Either give that thing a set up time like Jinx, or just remove the snare for a slow. Because why someone need to be rewarded with Kitting, Self Peel + Burst damage, for little to no effort.

Cait and jinx traps are the same set up time, cait doesn't have aoe baseline autos and no attack speed steroid. Jinx has both and 2 different steroids

Oh you know, a global ultimate that deals bonus damage based on enemy missing hp..... A snare that can potentially get up to 3 enemies.... Deal like, what, 120%? Of your AD in addition to base damage on W.... Extra range, made aoe, potentially tripled with hurricane, and 110% damage on her rocket autos...... Along with additional att speed, and move speed after every champ or building kill...... Wasnt enough to make jinx better than cait.

You had to find the trap setup time.

Even with never playing adc i would rather play jinx over cait lol, because she is just stronger and more useful. Trap timer would not make much difference.

No one is saying Jinx is better or worse than Cait, nor I'm asking for buffs for Jinx.

The point is that Cait should have a set up time on her traps as well.

She does. Just because you do not like it does not mean there is not a timer. Plus, without leveling it first, there is a 30+ second cooldown before you get another trap.

You can click and you can move when an enemy caitlyn puts a trap on you. Same as you can with Jinx. Actually I think its easier with Caitlyn because her traps have a smaller hitbox to activate. And has about the same setup time as Jinx's traps.

Cait's traps do take time to become active. If she drops it right on top of you, you have time to move.
