People shouldn't be able to call a role in blind pick until everyone has connected.

While this has only happened to me once, I feel that this is a problem that should be fixed. I've talked about this game, where I called top and locked in trundle, only for a person who hadn't picked yet and didn't have anything shown in chat yell at me about how they'd called top first. Eventually I relented and actually had a lot of fun as trundle adc, but things like this shouldn't be happening. Maybe make it so that people can't chat until everyone has connected or something, I don't know.

I think it is already that way and this guy basically lied to you. I want to say RIOT fixed this a couple years ago. I couldn't find it right away but if you do the search I think it was part of the patch notes awhile back.

Dang. And the worst part is, when I said that I'd go bot, the guy just said "good." No "thank you" or "sorry about that." Just "good."

Just ignore calling and instalock. That's what I do. Blind Pick is the wild west son, anything goes.

But I prefer to have an actually functioning team where people can agree on stuff. I'm not a fan of instalocking because it forces people out of what they wanted to aim for.

Liking what you're saying, but please don't lock in until everyone has decided where they wanna go. Sometimes I would switch roles so someone doesn't feed (don't like it... but hey, that's why I stopped playing blind pick and now only play draft pick), and other times because someone may have called the role before me. Or the other way around.

Pretty sure they didn't fix it, btw... it definitely has happened last year.

To be fair, three other teammates had locked in by that point, just not the one who forced me into bot lane.
