What was your favorite season?

Call me another salty player but I am asking an honest question. What was your favorite point in the meta. It doesn't have to be an entire season and can be a certain point in a season but just pointing out what it is and explaining why is enough. I would say my favorite meta was the part of season 4 during worlds. there were only a few champions that had to be banned (looking at you alistar and ryze i see you there.) and outisde of that almost any champ could be played. we saw stuff in top lane like rumble and kayle top that carried with their damage but also things like mundo and maokai for tanks. In the jungle there were the usual elise and lee sin but also stuff like rengo j4 kha zix and even a fiddles game. Mid lane had a CRAPLOAD of diversity with stuff like zilean zed jayce fizz ahri kayle( I realize kayle was put in here twice but it is true) talon syndra orianna just so many picks that were allowed and not punished. ADC had ok diversity as well with picks like twitch corki lucian tristana jinx and kog maw who almost all provide different styles of play. I would say support had some diversity but i cant deny that this was the msot limited role. you had nami janna thresh bruam leona and that was pretty much it. But I think that the main part that made me love this point in the meta was that it was fast but not too fast. people contested stuff but when they died it wasn't gg. You could choose to either stall out or play agressive (SHR being agressive for example and TSM being passive) and the best part was how there was never a timer in the game other than the champions being played. you didnt have to think "oh crap 5 dragons is comign soon after that it is gg" you had to think stuff like "oh crap kog maw is almost at max items we are screwed after that" but even with kog you had assasins for that. It was extremely balanced in the different styles you can play and it was fun.
