What is with the waiting times for playing ranked?

I mean, I have waited for 30 mins on fill and nothing. This is crap!

Any time I exceed the expected time by a minute or two, I'll drop queue and requeue. Seems to work, it makes me think there is a glitch in the system from time to time.
