Why can I aim my basic skillshots with the minimap, my allies' portraits, and even my own portrait?

Seriously, Why? This is so annoying as it's made me miss possibly dozens of Aatrox Q's and E's at this point and its actually starting to majorly affect my games. Once in a ranked game, I remember in a late game teamfight I was about to land a very crucial Q down below me to help us win the teamfight, but no, since I accidentally hovered over my own portait it fucking Q's directly on top of me, we all die and lose the teamfight, and later on, the game. Please remove this, or at LEAST give us a way to disable it, beacause I've dug through the options very thoroughly and found nothing.
