Can yasuo's Windwall Stop Dark Matter?

Parceval··1 votes·694 views

I was laning against yas as veigar the other day.

And a couple of times he appeared to take no damage while standing underneath his wall and being struck by Dark Matter.

Is this intentional? Or is it a bug? Or am I crazy?

EDIT: Why downvote me for a question? This community is confusing sometimes. Otherwise, thanks guys for the informative responses!

I don't think it should block it, but there is the possibility that the falling animation is a projectile (like Soraka Q) His shield might have been up.

Windwall doesn't not dark matter as it is not a projectile. It is a delayed aoe spell, like swains w, nevermove

It probably did more or less exactly enough to kill his entire shield without losing hp

ive encountered a similar problem with yasuo as his wind wall for some reason tends to block things it otherwise shouldn't. ive seen it block a karthus ult and his personal shield has proved very resilient as it blocks ALL abilities regardless of damage or crowd control applied.
