Do i need to put into words how stupid conqueror is... It basically says fuck you to all tanks especially tanks that dont even do damage in the first place. I was playing Leona and i had 305 armor 389 with w activated and i basically died in like 4 seconds going against an Irelia... With Conqueror.... Like at that point whats the point of going tank if it is completely useless against champs like this Even with yasuo it is really stupid.

hotdogsaregud4ya1 votesYou just have to remember leona designed for dealing damage although I have built her to deal unexpected damage to the opponents before. And even if she isn't tanky because of the conqueror rune, she still is always useful because of the cc she provides. Yasuo will never be able to lifesteal while under cc and will die easily for being squishy once cced. Is he fair? I mean hey I think master yi has been stupid forever. You think conqueror is dumb but yi always had true damage that rips tanks up like nothing.
But back to my point, it may suck to be cut like butter when intending to be tanky, but remember your strength that your cc is a huge thing. And also, stacking health rather than just focusing on armor helps if you werent doing already and if you were then continue on. Armor's damage reduction scaling diminishes greatly the higher you go up meanwhile health will scale very well because you get what you buy and it also scales with your armor that you already naturally have along with bonus armor you get.

I was trying to be nice because some tanks don't have much utility. If you consider garen or darius as tanks whether they are bruisers or not, they don't have much utility or very little cc. But then if you look at amumu, sejuani, tahm freaking kench, the cc utility is ridiculous

In Irelia's rework she lost her true damage, obviously something riot wanted her to keep but knew it would be broken, so what did they do? Just release a new keystone that gives AD AND true damage in such a short span between Conq release and Irelia release?
The entire thing is a disaster made to compensate for what they removed from Irelia, not to balance the game. Her entire rework only caused problems, even Zoe was less of a flop and disgrace, and she was made out from the scrapped old Nidalee they reworked because they could not balance Nida properly, and reused her concept into Zoe.
It was never about balance, we all saw that upon Irelia's rework release.
Aries the Ram2 votesJust saying that if you build some lifesteal with conqueror, you destroy anything you want unless you get 1v5 and get chained cc, which doesn't happen since nobody can do ult and summ on the same person or they loose a teamfight. Now, conqueror is beyond broken, dealing true damage is actually game breaking. It's not for nothing that Darius, Yasuo, Irelia and Jax are mostly winning their games when they go conqueror. You've tons of hybrid dmg and you've true dmg too ! And conqueror has no cd ! If you proc it, you can have it for an entire fight until you stop attacking someone ! I even see some Miss Fortune and Draven going conqueror, and it was not designed for ranged at first. You can't go tank against conqueror, you'll die in 4 sec ( if they're not fed LOL ), you can't build dmg either, if they take some lifesteal, you won't have the dmg to break a single shield because you're not designed to do dmg. If you're an ap, you can poke yeah, but 1 mr item and you'll feel like you've no dmg, because hey... BRUIIIIIISERS ! I won't talk about beeing an adc season 8 since bruisers are on top of the meta and they nearly one shot them all. So, what's left ? An other bruiser with conqueror ! So basically, to have a chance against a conqueror 1v1 you must have conqueror, or get camped by your jungler and hoping that the other lanes are fine ^^ ! Anyway, this rune is stupid and unfair, most of the bruisers are beyond broken with that and if you can't tank anything, you're basically dead ( most of them are designed to reach ranged champions, so if you don't have any frontlane that can peel and tank for you, well, you're dead again ! haha ) Nerf this, that's all. End this bruisers retarded meta, and go back to the old "tank can tank, adc can kite and kill a tank, ap can poke and kill squishy, bruisers can kill the adc or the ap and tank can kill the bruiser or the ap !" Putting conqueror in this game just vanish the logic and make bruisers the kings of the rift.

RileyReid4201 votesConqueror was the only Thing which could counter those tanks items. Now we're doomed to try to deal with Thornmail, frozen heart, etc.. in a different way now that conqueror has been nerfed for bruisers and buffed for mages. smh
