Imagine if items were animated, not just images in inventory

Some suggestions that come to mind:

- Particle effects. - Swinging like it's an actual necklace. - Blinking effect, like you would actually be wearing them. - Icy air coming off of the item.

True. It would be considered as uncessary clutter.

I second that it would be cool but might be distracting or, worse, cause fps/lag issues for low-end users. I'd be super down for it if they offered a way to disable it, which I'd imagine wouldn't be difficult considering they have ways to disable most everything on the hud.

Yeah such option would be good if something similar to this were to be implemented.

But imagine if every item had these effects in the late game. The scoreboard would be a mess of blinking, shimmering, particle-y squares. :(

I was thinking that it would be best to only see your own items animated similarly to how only you can see your skin icon and others can't.
